Hi everyone, I just wanted to update you on Wesley. Most of you know that he has had alot of stomach problems since he was little and we never quite knew what it was. Well, we have been to a few Dr.'s and had quite a few tests in the last 2 weeks and have found out that they are 95% sure that Wes has a disease by the name of Hirschsprung's---if you want to know all the details just google it---to make it short .. while he was developing in the womb some of his cells in his colon did not develop so he has not been able to go to the bathrooom correctly and he has stretched his colon out. The only way to correct this is through surgery. They will either have to remove the bad part of the colon and then reattach it all in one surgery or they will have to remove the bad part and give him a colostomy bag for a couple months to let the remaining colon heal. Then they can reattach in another surgery. He had a biopsy today---they put him to sleep and took some tissue and cells from the colon and they also cleaned him out. Because we live in Guam there are no specialists etc. to read this biopsy so it has to be sent to Hawaii ---we will have the results in a week. The results will tell us how much of the colon is damaged etc. and if this definitely is the problem. Please pray for Wesley and for us---we will have many decisions in the next few weeks. There is only a general surgeon here and we are not sure if he should have the surgery here or not---we are getting as much info. as we can on what is best to do. Obviously, we cannot just jump on a plane right now---it's quite expensive--so this just leaves us to trust the Lord and know that He will show us exactly what to do. Well, that's what's been up with us---hope you all are doing well and I'll keep you posted.
Just a few pictures of my sweet little boy #2

) anyway, he wouldn't believe me and continued to sing about the pigeon Mary!! Just thought you all might get a little laugh out of that!!
and second some of you know that Wes has had stomach problems for the last year and a half and the Dr. said not to worry about the potty training until we can do something about his stomach---well, about a month ago (when he turned 3) we finally got a good Dr. and we actually started getting somewhere with his issues
so, about a week and a half ago he just started going on his little chair all by himself then I informed him he was too big for his diapers and he decided that he would no longer wear them!!! I am so thankful and the money saved is going to be so nice!
I had seen in the paper that one of our malls was having an interactive light show with music and that it would snow---so of course, we took the kids---I must say the show was great--it's the first time they've ever done anything like that on Guam and as of right not it's the only one on island--the kids loved it but good thing we went to the first show because in the second one the snow machine would not work
so I'm glad --they actually have it every night at 7 and 8 so I think that might be one of our Friday night outings until Christmas!!

So, we will be getting some more---it's Chase's birthday on Thursday, so we'll definitely have them by then!!
